Beyond Sound - Alumni Club
To continue to engage with all Shepherd Centre alumni beyond graduation by providing mutual support, community activities, ongoing improved outcomes, networking and professional development opportunities.
We continue to support past families and students so that we can provide even more opportunities to all of our amazing graduates, as well as encourage ongoing involvement in our activities. We are, most importantly, a family centred service and believe that all past students will always be part of our “family”.

About the Alumni Manager
The Alumni Club was started by Sharlene Dadd, who is a past parent of The Shepherd Centre. Her first child, Marcus was born profoundly deaf in 1999. The Dadd family are so grateful for the programs offered by The Shepherd Centre to allow Marcus to learn to hear, speak, attend mainstream school and reach his full potential in life. Sharlene worked at The Shepherd Centre between 2014 to 2018 during which time she set up this great program to provide resources and share information with alumni of The Shepherd Centre.
Elly Unicomb from the Fundraising team, and a past graduate, now looks after the alumni club and can be contacted for any enquiries.
