The 2017 Sydney New Year’s Eve Lord Mayor’s Picnic will be a super powered adventure.
Heroes great and small are welcomed to Super-kapow, where everyone is super silly, super swift, a super singer and super strong!
Every child and child-at-heart is invited to dress in their finest capes, masks and armour – or their preferred super hero gear.
We have once again been invited to offer tickets to our families to attend a super evening in the Royal Botanic Garden on Sunday 31 December from 5pm to 9.15pm.
There will be around 1,000 children with specific needs aged between 2 and 12 years, and their carer/s and immediate family.
How to apply
The Shepherd Centre will do an online application for each family who has registered an interest by Sunday 22 October. The City of Sydney will notify selected families and send them tickets directly before Christmas.
Tickets for carers, families and charity staff
Tickets are available for the child’s full-time carers (maximum of 2 per child) and siblings under 16 years of age. Siblings under the age of 2 are welcome, but must be noted on the application form.
Tickets will be posted to the primary carer only. Tickets cannot be transferred. Photo identification will be required at the entry to the event.
