Make a lasting impact via our live crowdfunding event

Help projects at The Shepherd Centre by voting with your donation

We invite you to come and experience the power of collective giving at The Shepherd Centre’s first ever LIVE crowdfunding event, hosted by ASX.

It will be a highly memorable experience that is sure to stick with you long after the evening is over.

Join Professor Jim Patrick AO, one of the original engineers who pioneered the development of the cochlear implant, for pre-drinks and canapes before settling into an inspirational evening where you will meet Stephanie, Rebecca and Anne; three passionate members of The Shepherd Centre team.

They each have six minutes to ‘pitch’ to you live from the stage, in the style of ‘Dragons’ Den’, and tell you about the diverse and inspiring projects they are delivering to change the lives of deaf and hearing impaired children in Australia, and then answer your questions.

What follows is a truly electric live crowding session led by our experienced Master of Ceremonies Patrick Lindsay AM.  If a pitch inspires you, you can get involved and pledge your support from as little as $100.  You’ll not only make a difference you’ll FEEL it too!

You’ll also have the opportunity to experience what life is like for a child with hearing loss through The Shepherd Centre’s unique Virtual Reality Experience; and learn more about the cochlear implant, an Australian invention.
