Challenge yourself and get active to give the gift of sound and speech in 2020! A fun run, swimming or cycling event is a great way to get fit whilst raising funds and awareness for The Shepherd Centre.   Whatever your fitness level, there are lots of wonderful & fun events happening throughout the year that you can take part in.   The main events taking place in Sydney and Canberra for 2020 are listed below.  

To register for an event, just follow these five easy steps:

  2. Once you’ve decided which one(s) you wish to take part in, simply register through the site
  3. Follow the sites’s instructions about how to set up your fundraising page.  It’s that simple! 
  4. Once you’ve registered we’ll be in touch with you and promise to support your fundraising efforts every step of the way!

    Challenge yourself this May by taking on this course which will take you on a tour of some of Sydney’s most iconic sites including the Rocks, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens.

    Whether you're in training for City2Surf, live in the Shire or are simply looking for a fun event to take part in, why not try Sutherland 2 Surf. This 11km fun run and walk takes you from Sutherland to Wanda Beach in Cronulla.

    Taking place on Sunday October 18, City2Surf is Australia's biggest fun run. Starting in Sydney's CBD, this 14km race to the iconic Bondi Beach takes in some incredible sights and spectacular views.

    Beach2Beach is Sydney's most scenic fun run and takes in the beautiful sights of the Northern Beaches. With with 3 course options available this event has something for everyone. A 3km run from Mona Vale to Newport Beach; 6km from Warriewood to Newport Beach and a 13km course from Dee Why Beach to Newport Beach.
    Once you make it to the finish line you can enjoy live music, food, fun rides and games for kids and a fully licensed bar area at the Family Festival.
