During these challenging times, we would like to remind families that we are able to offer flexible access options for our services. All sessions are still currently conducted online, unless pre-arranged with your child’s team.
However, we’d like to reassure you that our unwavering support for your child and family is our priority.

The Shepherd Centre’s Online Telehealth System provides specialist services to any family and utilises a combination of online services, video-conferencing sessions and online learning programs.
All of our programs, groups and one-to-one sessions can be accessed via your computer, tablet or smartphone.
Through Online Telehealth, you’ll continue to receive expert advice in paediatric hearing loss to guide and coach parents in their local environment supporting children’s listening, literacy, language and social development using every day equipment and daily life routines.
Parents and carers in different locations can video conference into sessions.
The team work with local educational support workers and allied health professionals to help achieve the best possible outcomes for children.

Our holistic model includes individual and group programs to provide both you and your child the opportunity to learn in focused, individual sessions and from peers and others in social, group contexts.
Providing opportunities for parents and care-givers to learn by watching, observing and discussing strategies and techniques to develop their child’s skills.
Music, social, participation, inclusion, school readiness and early literacy skills, parenting programs and training courses for extended family members.
Interactive Online Services made sense in terms of availability, flexibility and frequency of sessions. It also allowed me to call in from work while Caroline and Ted were at home and his specialised team were in Sydney. That potential for us all to take part together was very important.
