Getting started
Has your child been diagnosed with hearing loss or are you concerned about your child’s hearing? The Shepherd Centre is a one-stop-shop using an integrated approach to giving your child the best access to sound and speech. We can also help you navigate funding and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Focus on your family
Our focus is on your family. We are here to support your child’s hearing loss as well as your family unit. We often have grandparents and extended family members involved in our programs and of course, siblings love coming to play at our centres as well! When you first come to The Shepherd Centre, you will meet with one of our highly experienced Child and Family Counsellors who will discuss your child’s needs and help to develop the best path forward for your child.
