Meet Stephanie Ingram, Principal Regional Manager at The Shepherd Centre
For Stephanie Ingram no two days at The Shepherd Centre look the same. As Principal Regional Manager, Steph oversees day-to-day operations across the centre network, moving between locations and working closely with families and staff to help ensure every child and family receives a consistent, high-quality experience.
In a highly detail focused role, it’s the meaningful moments and positive outcomes that continue to inspire Steph every day. “Having the privilege of hearing babies say their first word. That is actually so special to me because the babies who come to us have hearing loss, and so families are always so uncertain about when they’re going to hear their kids talk” she says.
Steph plays an important role in helping centres run smoothly and creating an environment where families feel confident, welcomed and cared for throughout their journey with The Shepherd Centre. For many families who have received a hearing loss diagnosis and aren’t sure what the future will look like, this can be an emotional milestone. Being present for this moment and others along the journey is something that she feels is the heart of her work.
When asked to describe The Shepherd Centre in three words, Steph chose: happy, fun and intentional. She loves that no matter which centre, every child and family is welcomed into a warm and supportive environment; a place where they feel comfortable, connected and celebrated.
